Cape George, WA: Homes & Community
Cape George sits on the northwest corner of the Quimper Peninsula, about 15 minutes from Port Townsend. It’s known for views of the Olympic Mountains, Discovery Bay and Protection Island, and for its sunsets โ some of the best on the peninsula.
Three Communities in One
The Colony: Custom homes with big views. On a clear night you can see the lights of Victoria across the Strait. Colony homes tend to be the most sought-after in Cape George.
The Village: The original 1950s development, mostly manufactured homes placed to take in the Strait, Protection Island, Discovery Bay and the Olympics. The Village offers some of the most affordable waterfront-adjacent living in the county.
The Highlands: Wooded parcels, usually over an acre, with manufactured or stick-built homes. Most have little or no water view but more room to spread out and more privacy.
Amenities
Walkable beaches, community trails and the Cape George Clubhouse with an indoor pool, gym and a members’ workshop. The Cape George Marina is the only marina on Discovery Bay, with good crabbing and fishing nearby. The community has an active social calendar and a strong volunteer culture.
